Background Story:
“Here’s our new favorite smoothie… we call it the Chai Basil Express.”

Recipe:
Ingredients:
- Iced Chai Tea
- Basil
- Vanilla Flax Milk (Good Karma) you can get it at Whole Foods
- Ginger
- Cinnamon
- Black pepper
- Stevia
Instructions:
- Brew about half a blender full of chai tea (to your desired strength) then ice it.
- Add about 6 leaves of basil, a teaspoon of cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon of stevia, 1 nub of ginger root and 2 pinches of black pepper.
- Once all the ingredients are in the blender, fill with vanilla flax milk (or regular milk with vanilla extract to taste).
- Strain if needed.
- Add chopped ice to make it more ice cream like.
- Enjoy!
