I was able to catch up with each of the Road to Movement featured DJs (and a few surprise guests) after their Movement sets for a quick lightning round of a few questions. Photos by me!
ANDREA GHITA

Her set was filled with good vibes and really showcased herself as a standout Detroit DJ. I got to catch up with her after her Movement set and these were her thoughts:
detroit.dance: How did this Movement set feel compared to your last set?
Andrea: Oh man, it felt more like what I wanted to put out there. I feel like the last time I played a little bit safe because I was nervous. This set was all about me expressing how I have evolved as an artist, so it felt really good.

detroit.dance: What was your favorite track you threw in there?
Andrea: It’s gotta be Universe by Aquarius Heaven. One of my all time go-tos and it seemed like the crowd enjoyed it as well.

detroit.dance: What is your go-to Movement snack?
Andrea: Chicken on a stick in a pinch. But a fat slice of pizza will also do it for me.

Listen to Andrea’s Road to Movement Mix, here.
Stay tuned for the next several featured artists and their thoughts post-set!
